This Privacy Policy explains how the Epeolatry App ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Epeolatry mobile application (the "App").

We differ from many other apps: we do not sell your data, we do not show third-party advertisements, and we do not engage in tracking across other companies' apps or websites.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of data to provide and improve the game experience:

Identifiers: When you sign in (optional), we collect your email address and generate a unique User ID. We may also collect a device identifier for analytics and crash reporting.
Usage Data: We track your game progress, scores, difficulty levels, and interaction history to synchronize your stats across devices.
Diagnostics: We collect crash logs and performance data to identify and fix technical issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data solely for the following purposes:

To authenticate you and restore your game progress (e.g., preserving your stats if you switch devices).
To analyze aggregate usage trends to improve game difficulty and features via Google Analytics.
To detect and resolve application crashes and technical errors.
To send optional reminders (if you opt-in) regarding your daily challenge streaks.

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services from Google Firebase to operate the App. These partners may process data on our behalf:

Firebase Authentication: Manages user sign-in and security.
Cloud Firestore: Stores your game stats and settings securely in the cloud.
Google Analytics for Firebase: Provides anonymous insight into how users interact with the app.
Firebase Crashlytics: Helps us fix bugs by reporting crash contexts.

4. No Device Fingerprinting

We strictly do not engage in Device Fingerprinting. We do not use any APIs or data (such as device model, IP address, or battery status) to uniquely identify your device for the purpose of tracking your activity across unrelated third-party apps or websites.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal data associated with your account for as long as your account is active. If your account remains inactive for two (2) years, we may delete your data. Alternatively, your data is deleted upon your request, though it may take up to 72 hours to completely remove all associated data.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to access the data we hold about you and to request its deletion.

7. Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, we strongly encourage you to use the Account Deletion button available within the App or on the Website when logged in. This is the fastest and most secure method.

If you cannot access the App or Website, you may request account deletion by emailing support@epeolatry.app from the email address associated with your account. Please note that manual deletion requests sent via email will take a few business days to process.
